Schools teach academics well and largely leave out the operating manual. How to regulate an emotion, read a body signal, repair a friendship, or notice what you are genuinely drawn to. These are learnable skills with real evidence behind them, and most people are left to work them out alone.
This curriculum exists so anyone can run a weekly club that teaches them. A parent, a former teacher, a coach, a librarian. No credential is required and no training is assumed.
Thirty sessions across six pillars, each written four times for four age bands:
- Mind · mindfulness, emotional regulation, and the mechanics of a thought
- Body · movement, body signals, sleep, and discharging stress
- Nutrition · food as information, gut and mood, and reading marketing
- Relationships · listening, boundaries, repair, and difficult conversations
- Creativity · finding a spark, working past perfectionism, and shipping a project
- Positive Psychology · strengths, resilience, values, and flow
Every session is built the same way, so running one gets easier each week:
- What we are learning, why it matters, and an example to read before you run it, so you can answer a question that is not on the sheet.
- A thirty minute core that works on its own, with a word-for-word opening, a main activity in numbered steps, and reflection questions.
- Optional add-ons to extend to forty five or sixty minutes when you have the time and the group has the energy.
- A take-home so the week between sessions does the work.
One note on tone. This club does not discuss weight or body size. It discusses how bodies function, how food affects energy and mood, and how to notice what your own body is telling you. That distinction is deliberate and it is worth holding.
